Fox’s Carol E. Thorstad-Forsyth Receives AIPLA 2015 Service Award

Fox Rothschild LLP (“Fox”) is pleased to announce that Carol E. Thorstad-Forsyth has been awarded the 2015 Project Award by the American Intellectual Property Law Association (“AIPLA”) for her commitment in globally expanding the Women in IP Law Committee’s yearly Networking Event. The AIPLA Women in IP Law Committee places a strong emphasis on empowering women and developing programming that focuses on and promotes women who practice intellectual property law.

Thorstad-Forsyth, a partner in the firm’s Intellectual Property practice, served as co-chair of the 2014 and 2015 Women in IP Networking Events, and set a goal to expand the yearly Networking Event to geographical locations worldwide. In 2015, her commitment to achieving that goal resulted in 64 cities within 19 different countries participating in the Networking Event.

At Fox, Thorstad-Forsyth provides guidance to clients regarding protection of their intellectual property to include inventions, trademarks, works of authorship and trade secrets. She represents major defense contractors and leaders in the global communications market, document management market, consumer goods market and network/software solutions market.

Thorstad-Forsyth received her J.D. from the New England School of Law in 2004 and her B.S. Electrical Engineering from Boston University in 2000.
