Fox Rothschild LLP is pleased to announce that Gregory J. Kleiber, partner in the firm’s Philadelphia office, has been appointed board chairman of the Lantern Theater Company. Kleiber previously served as the board’s vice president.

Founded in 1994 by Charles McMahon and Michael Brophy, the Lantern Theater Company is committed to an authentic and intimate exploration of the human spirit in classics, modern and original works. It annually reaches 16,000 audience members through its innovative and eclectic range of work, both on and off the stage.

In a press release, former board chairman Eugene Bissell said: “Greg’s service to the Lantern since 2010 has been exemplary, both in his understanding and dedication to our mission and in his outstanding support of the company. He brings an ideal blend of not-for-profit governance experience and practical professional expertise to this role, as well as a deep knowledge and love of the Lantern’s work on stage.”

Active in the local community, Kleiber also serves as treasurer of the Philadelphia History Museum, as president of the ConcertOpera of Philadelphia’s board and as a member of the board of directors for the Homeless Advocacy Project.

At Fox, Kleiber represents national commercial landowners and lenders, major regional homebuilders in land acquisition and development and condominiums and cooperatives. He also negotiates energy agreements designed to support large industrial projects.
