Fox’s M. Ramana Rameswaran Appointed to Governing Council of American Bar Association’s Health Law Section

Fox Rothschild LLP is pleased to announce that M. Ramana Rameswaran has been appointed to the Governing Council, as the Young Lawyer Division (YLD) Representative and Liaison, of the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Health Law Section.

As the YLD Representative, Rameswaran will participate on the governing body responsible for the operations, growth, and development of the Section, which is the voice of the national health law bar within the ABA. Rameswaran previously served as the law student liaison to the council.

The Health Law Section of the ABA has more than 10,600 members who represent clients in all segments of the health care industry.

With a background and practical work experience in the health care field, Rameswaran represents clients in a wide variety of corporate and health law-related matters, including physician and mid-level employment, consulting services, contract pharmacy arrangements, the 340B discount program, student and resident affiliations, clinical trials, graduate medical education, HIPAA, billing/payor issues, software licensing, commercial real estate, confidentiality, consumable purchases, and equipment purchases and leases. He also advises clients on policies and procedures, as well as corporate governance.

Rameswaran earned his J.D. from the Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law and his B.S. from Widener University.
