Fox Rothschild LLP is pleased to announce that Philip L. Hinerman, partner in the Philadelphia office, will be honored with the Pennsylvania Bar Association (PBA) Environmental and Energy Law Section’s Lifetime Achievement Award at its annual dinner on April 8.

The Lifetime Achievement Award is presented annually to a member of the PBA Environmental and Energy Law section who furthers and enhances the practice of environmental law in the legal and regulated community.

A founding board member of the Delaware Valley Green Building Council, Hinerman has practiced environmental litigation, wine and spirits, land use and sustainability law for more than 30 years. Ranked as one of Pennsylvania’s leading environmental lawyers by Chambers USA, Hinerman also has extensive experience in federal and state regulatory litigation and counseling. In addition to Pennsylvania, Hinerman has an active California practice.

A past chair of the Environment and Energy Law Section of the PBA, Hinerman is a frequent witness and consultant to law firms and corporations regarding environmental matters. During his chairmanship, the Section began its PLUS program, allowing law firms and offices to commit to sustainable practices.

He was selected by the Section of Environment, Energy and Resources (SEER) of the American Bar Association to act as a liaison between SEER and the PBA’s Environmental and Energy Law Section. He will help to bridge communication between the two entities on current environmental issues as well as assist with joint events.
