Fox’s Thomas Oppenheimer Now Board Certified in International Law by the Florida Bar

June 13, 2016 – Press Releases

Fox Rothschild LLP is pleased to announce that Thomas Oppenheimer, an attorney in the firm’s Miami office, recently passed the Florida Bar’s Certification Exam in International Law. By passing the exam, Oppenheimer has become one of only 50 estimated Board Certified International Law attorneys in the state of Florida. Less than one percent of all lawyers in Florida achieve Board Certification.

Attorneys certified by the Florida Bar to practice International Law are considered experts in dealing with issues, problems or disputes arising from relations between or among states and international organizations, as well as the relations between nationals of different countries.

Oppenheimer represents clients in domestic and international business transactions. With a number of clients in Miami and Latin America, he handles a broad range of local and international transactions, including cross-border acquisitions, joint ventures and private offerings and counsels clients in corporate governance issues. He also represents landlords and tenants in commercial leasing transactions and represents clients in commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts.

Oppenheimer earned his J.D., cum laude, from American University, Washington College of Law and his B.A. from Emory University.
