Fox Rothschild’s Wan-Mo Kang Appointed Regional President of WAHS

As worldwide interest in South Korean entertainment culture continues to surge, Fox Rothschild LLP is pleased to announce that Wan-Mo Kang, a partner in the firm’s Princeton office, has been appointed Regional President of the U.S. East Branch of the World Association of Hallyu Studies (WAHS), an association dedicated to promoting Hallyu Studies throughout the world. Hallyu means “Korean Wave,” more popularly known as “K-Pop,” and covers a wide range of Korean culture from Korean music and theater to food and fashion.

As president, Kang will be responsible for providing news and research on Hallyu in the eastern United States, organizing local Hallyu-related activities, including regional conferences and workshops, and participating in the annual WAHS World Congress for Hallyu.

He has contributed numerous columns and articles about the U.S. law and Korean American Community issues to the Korea Central Daily News, New York.
