August 8, 2011 – Press Releases
Wendy G. Rothstein, partner in the Blue Bell office of Fox Rothschild LLP, was recently appointed chair the Montgomery County Bar Association’s Civics' Education Task Force by The Honorable Carolyn Carluccio, President of the Bar Association.

The Montgomery County Bar Association Civics’ Education Task Force calls for lawyers and judges to volunteer their time to educate area students about the Constitution, government and general civics.

Rothstein was one of 15 attorneys to partner with 15 judges to present six sessions on liberty and the law to middle school students in the Norristown Area School District. The sessions ran from September 2010 to May of this year and covered topics including the rights and the role of the citizen, the role of the judge and the appeal process through a series of mini-mock trials, and a showcase of law-related career opportunities to students featuring interactive sessions and presentations.

Rothstein’s diverse litigation practice includes commercial and business litigation; alternative dispute resolution, including commercial arbitrations and mediation; employment litigation involving restrictive covenants, trade secrets, fiduciary duties, defending employers in employment discrimination suits and defending wage and hour claims; and real estate, tax assessment and land use and zoning litigation.

Rothstein is a member of the Pennsylvania and Montgomery County Bar Associations and serves as the Vice Chair of the Bench Bar Committee, and is a member of the Judiciary and Civil Rules Committees of the Montgomery County Bar Association. She has served as a court-appointed Discovery Master since 2001. She earned her J.D. from the University of Baltimore in 1982 and her B.S. from Temple University in 1978, graduating cum laude from both.
