Hackensack-based Deener, Hirsch & Shramenko, P.C. attorneys, Jerome A. Deener, Debra T. Hirsch, Adam M. Grenker, Julia S. Epstein and Erica J. Goldberg were noted for joining Fox Rothschild’s growing tax and estates practice in northern New Jersey.

Their move to Fox Rothschild not only helps expand the firm's already significant representation of high-net worth individuals, families and their business enterprises but also adds depth to a practice area that has garnered much attention in the current economy and regulatory climate.

With talk of changing the estate tax law in the coming year and the potential to make retroactive changes to this year's tax rules, Deener said this confusion is "all the more reason for clients to have professionals plan their estates and do so in a flexible manner."

Mark Silow, administrative partner of the firm, noted that the addition of these six attorneys was both geographic and practice driven. "We have a very significant tax and estates practice nationwide, and this just adds greater depth and geographic spread to it." In addition, Silow said that a tax and estate practice "engenders probably the highest level of trust a lawyer could have with a client," and the firm has always viewed it as a great entrance into other business relationships.
