Fox Rothschild Again Named ‘Litigation Department of the Year’ by the New Jersey Law Journal

May 5, 2017 – Press Releases

For the second time in three years, Fox Rothschild LLP has been named as the top litigation practice among large law firms by the New Jersey Law Journal, the state’s leading chronicler of the legal profession.

The firm’s New Jersey litigators were once again recognized for going “beyond just providing good counsel” by breaking ground in the law and successfully representing institutional clients in “high leverage disputes.”

Fox’s three New Jersey offices – Princeton, Morristown and Atlantic City – are home to more than 50 litigators. In 2016, the firm won a string of significant victories for clients in cases involving biotech and pharmaceutical patents, affordable housing, workplace harassment allegations and the appeal of a $6.4 million contract dispute involving the distribution of Norwegian health products, among others.

Nationwide, Fox’s Litigation Department numbers more than 300 attorneys.

“We are especially proud of this award because it recognizes not only the lead attorneys for their individual victories, but also the contributions of dozens of Fox attorneys in all of our New Jersey offices and our terrifically talented and indispensable support staff,” said Jackie Carolan, co-chair of Fox’s firmwide Litigation Department.

“This award is shared by everyone at Fox who helped to build this formidable litigation team by attracting smart, creative, dedicated attorneys. This same team won this award in 2015 and I think this second win is a testament to their consistency and client-focused commitment to excellence,” said John Haggerty, co-chair of Fox’s firm wide Litigation Department.

Fox’s New Jersey litigators will be honored at a special awards dinner in June.
