Fox Rothschild Donates Office Furniture to the Homeless Advocacy Project

May 9, 2014 – Press Releases

Fox Rothschild Partner Gregory J. Kleiber has been extensively involved with the Homeless Advocacy Project (HAP) for more than 20 years. When the organization recently moved to a new office space in downtown Philadelphia, Kleiber negotiated the new lease and spearheaded Fox’s donation of gently used firm office furniture to help furnish HAP’s new workplace.

“The Homeless Advocacy Project is a leader in Philadelphia serving the homeless population,” said Kleiber. “HAP had been using borrowed furniture in their previous space, and I was delighted that Fox was able to step in and donate essential desks, chairs and conference tables to enable the team to continue its mission of serving the community.”

HAP has a corps of 400 volunteer lawyers, paralegals and law students who work to meet the legal and advocacy needs of the homeless in Philadelphia. To date, HAP’s volunteers have provided more than $35 million worth of free legal services to homeless clients.

Kleiber’s practice at Fox involves representing national commercial landowners and lenders and major regional homebuilders in land acquisition and development.
