Fox Rothschild is rapidly growing and, effective Wednesday, added its 20th office by acquiring Dallas-based David & Goodman, P.C.

Founded over 30 years ago, 18-lawyer firm David & Goodman primarily handles real estate, litigation, employment, corporate and family law matters.

Fox Rothschild Firmwide Managing Partner Mark Silow explains that “Texas is a hub for real estate, litigation, energy and corporate work. This merger with David & Goodman gives us a strong position in Texas, where we have wanted to establish a presence for some time.”

According to Silow, the firm already has a significant number of clients that are based in or have significant operations in Texas, and the acquisition will only enhance the scope and amount of business the firm will generate.

Clinton J. David, David & Goodman founder and former managing shareholder said that his firm was “anxious to offer the breadth of resources available through a full-service, national firm.”

Among those joining Fox from David & Goodman are David Grant Crooks, Mark A. Goodman, Daniel J. Madden, Robert J. Palmer, Michael S. Rumac, Christopher I. Clark, Abby L. Ewing and Brett L. Myers. It will also add two counsel and seven associates.
