Fox Rothschild Expands Denver Office With Addition of Taxation and Wealth Planning Partner Jennifer E. Benda

July 1, 2015 – Press Releases

Fox Rothschild LLP is pleased to announce that experienced tax practitioner Jennifer E. Benda has joined the firm’s Denver office as a partner in the Taxation and Wealth Planning Department.

A former Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Benda is a skilled tax attorney who handles tax controversy and income tax planning and compliance matters.

“Jennifer’s addition is a strategic expansion of our tax controversy and income tax planning and compliance services to clients in the region,” said Rick Rubin, Fox’s Denver office managing partner. “Her background and experience as both an attorney and a CPA will help provide a beneficial perspective that will be an asset to our clients in solving their issues in a timely and cost-effective manner.”

Benda serves as a steadfast advocate for clients, developing relationships with IRS personnel and IRS Appeals and state departments of revenue, and leverages these relationships to successfully resolve her clients’ tax matters. While she recognizes that out-of-court solutions can be more beneficial to her clients, she is prepared to take cases to court when necessary to ensure her clients are treated fairly.

Benda’s decade-long tenure as a CPA prior to entering the legal field enables her to provide additional benefits to clients in cases involving valuation or accounting issues and to effectively solve complicated tax issues.

Benda received her J.D., with honors, from George Washington University Law School in 2005, her M.S. in accounting from Texas A&M University in 1995 and her B.B.A. in accounting from Texas A&M University in 1994.

Prior to joining Fox Rothschild, Benda was counsel at Baker & Hostetler LLP. She was also a CPA for 10 years before entering the legal field.
