Fox Rothschild Goes Green; Donates to Yardley Public LibraryAugust 26, 2010 – Press Releases
The Bucks, Chester and Montgomery County offices of Fox Rothschild LLP, in an ongoing commitment to promote the firm’s Green Initiative, along with the Bucks County office of Langan Engineering & Environmental Services, donated more than 35 boxes of books to the Bucks County Public Library’s Annual Summer Book Sale, held August 12-16. The book sale brought in more than $11,000, a record for the Library.
Fox Rothschild encouraged its attorneys and staff to do a little “green” house cleaning to provide the library with books, DVDs and CDs – as well as stuffed toys, paintings and prints, holiday decorations, kitchen and office supplies and more – all of which were sold by the library at its book sale. Proceeds benefit the Yardley Branch and its ongoing renovations, which include new carpeting, repaving of the parking lot, painting throughout the entire building, a new central desk, new chairs, restructuring of the children’s and young adults’ areas and more. Books not sold are slated to have their pages recycled and in turn, the library will receive money to further the renovation project.
Fox Rothschild’s donation is part of the firm’s overall commitment to reduce its impact on the environment and promote environmental stewardship within the communities it serves. The firm is dedicated to implementing sustainable programs that efficiently use and reuse resources, save energy and reduce waste in a manner consistent with its other core values.
