Fox Rothschild Named a Healthiest Employer by Philadelphia Business Journal

April 23, 2015 – Press Releases

For the fifth time, the Philadelphia Business Journal has named Fox Rothschild LLP as a Healthiest Employer in Philadelphia.

The firm maintains a progressive and firm-wide wellness program, Fox Fit & Well, aimed at improving employee health and wellness. The initiative includes “yoga at lunch” programs, healthy breakfast gatherings, Fitbit Zip™ distribution and a partnership with Vitality – an outside wellness vendor that enables both employees and their family members to track wellness goals and receive incentives for activities completed, to name a few.

Fox and its Fox Fit & Well program have won awards across the country, including being named by the Pittsburgh Business Times as one of the Healthiest Employers in Western Pennsylvania in 2014 and 2011 and by the South Florida Business Times as one of the 2012 Healthiest Employers in South Florida. The firm also won the Delaware Valley HR Department of the Year Top Award for Excellence in Wellness in 2012. Additionally, in 2010 and 2013, the firm received the Philadelphia Business Journal/United Healthcare Healthy Workplace Top Award for companies with 500 to 1,499 employees.

Nearly 70 to 90 percent of health care costs are due to unhealthy choices and preventable risks. The Fox Fit & Well program is designed to help participants stay healthy and reduce overall health care costs through heightened awareness/education of preventive and chronic care management. The program allows participants to set specific wellness goals, develop steps to achieve those goals and track progress through simple online access.
