Fox Rothschild Names Jeffrey H. Nicholas as New Office Managing Partner in Bucks County

Fox Rothschild LLP is pleased to announce that Jeffrey H. Nicholas will assume the role of office managing partner for the firm’s Bucks County office, effective April 1.

The office managing partner is charged with overseeing and managing the day-to-day office operations in addition to serving on the firm’s Executive Committee, which sets overall firm policy.

Nicholas will take over the role partner from partner Adam G. Silverstein, who served a five-year term in the position.

A leader in the firm, Nicholas also serves as chair of Fox’s national Corporate Department. His practice involves a wide variety of corporate and commercial matters including, mergers and acquisitions of public and private companies, private equity transactions, seed, angel and venture capital financings, securities reporting and disclosure, securities offerings and transactions, corporate governance, special Committee and Audit Committee representation and executive compensation. He serves many clients as general counsel, combining the broad legal experience and practical business knowledge of an effective business adviser.

Active in the community, Nicholas serves as managing director of Delaware Crossing Investor Group, an angel investor network conceived of and managed with two Fox colleagues.

Nicholas is also an active member of the Greater Philadelphia Alliance for Capital and Technologies (PACT) and was appointed vice chair of the organization's 2013 Venture Summit, IMPACT. He also sits on the board of directors and is a member of the executive committee of the Heritage Conservancy, a regional conservation and preservation nonprofit. Additionally, he devotes time supporting Fisherman’s Mark, which serves the needy in Bucks and Hunterdon counties.

Nicholas earned his J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law and his B.A. from Williams College.
