Fox Rothschild Names Stephanie Resnick Philadelphia Office Managing Partner

March 21, 2017 – Press Releases

Fox Rothschild LLP is pleased to announce that Stephanie Resnick has been appointed to serve as office leader of the firm’s Philadelphia location.

Effective April 1, Resnick will succeed Michel G. Menkowitz in role, who held the highly regarded position for the past three years. The change is part of the firm’s normal rotation of office managing partners.

“Office managing partners play a pivotal role in enhancing client service and attracting top legal talent,” said Mark L. Morris Fox’s firmwide managing partner. “We are thrilled that Stephanie will be taking the reins of the Philadelphia office, and we look forward to growing and evolving under her leadership and guidance.”

A business trial lawyer, Resnick is a member of Fox’s Executive Committee and chair of the firm’s Directors’ & Officers’ Liability & Corporate Governance Practice Group. She previously chaired the firm’s nationwide Litigation Department for seven years.

Consistently ranked among the nation’s top litigators, Resnick is renowned among colleagues and peers for her strategic handling of high-stakes, complex business disputes in the federal and state courts of Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey and beyond.

A noted leader both within the firm and the legal community, Resnick is celebrated for her unwavering devotion to ensuring the integrity of the courts and helping to shape the legal profession. She served on the ABA’s Standing Committee on the Federal Judiciary, which vets federal court nominees, including Supreme Court Justices, and chaired the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Board of Governors, Federal Courts Committee and Commission on Judicial Selection and Retention. She currently serves on the Philadelphia Museum of Art’s Corporate Executive Board.

In honor of commitment to the legal profession, Resnick received the highly coveted Sandra Day O’Connor Award, which is given to an outstanding woman attorney in the Philadelphia area who exemplifies the qualities that Justice O’Connor embodied — the highest degree of professional excellence and exceptional mentoring to advance women in the legal profession.

In addition to Resnick, the firm will also welcome new office managing partners in the following locations:

  • Atlantic City: Eileen Oakes Muskett
  • New York: Janet M. MacLeod, Ph.D.
  • Pittsburgh: Jay D. Marinstein
  • Washington, DC: Reginald M. Jones
  • West Palm Beach: Robert J. Sacco

“Our outgoing office leaders have done a phenomenal job, and we are confident that our new managing partners will build on those foundations as the firm continues to grow,” concluded Morris.
