May 29, 2012 – Press Releases

As part of the firm’s commitment to promoting diversity within the legal community, the attorneys of Fox Rothschild’s San Francisco office recently participated in the Champions of Diversity Challenge fundraiser for the Bay Area Urban Debate League (BAUDL).

The week-long campaign supports the BAUDL’s mission of providing debate teams for urban high school students. As one of the top three fundraisers at the event, Fox Rothschild donated more than $329 per attorney to the fundraiser. Overall, the organization raised more than $87,000 through the participating firms.

“I'm very enthusiastic about this organization and am honored Fox could help them achieve their goal of providing opportunities to diverse students in the Bay Area,” said partner Jeffrey D. Polsky.

BAUDL currently partners with 13 schools in the Bay Area to found debate teams for urban high school students. Nearly 100 percent of seniors who participate in the Bay Area program graduate from high school and more than 85 percent of seniors who participate in BAUDL go on to college.
