Fox Rothschild Partner to Present on Corporate Data Management Strategies to Members of ACCA South Florida ChapterMay 25, 2011 – Press Releases
Fox Rothschild partners David A. Greene recently spoke on the topic of “Strategies for Corporate Data Management in the Age of E-Discovery” at a breakfast program of the ACCA South Florida Chapter.
Held May 19 at The Marriott Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale, the program addressed the critical importance of implementing document management policies and procedures for efficient collection, review and production of electronically stored information (ESI), given the staggering rate at which companies continually generate electronic information as well as the high percentage of data existing only in electronic format. Failure to properly manage ESI can lead to costly legal consequences.
Greene provided practical pointers on creating protocols for effective data management, focusing on policies for e-mail usage and electronic document retention as well as electronic data backup procedures and compliance plans.
