Fox Rothschild Provides Pro Bono Legal Service for the Latino Leadership Alliance of Bucks County, Inc.

September 11, 2014 – Press Releases

Sandra A. Romaszewski, an attorney with Fox Rothschild LLP, recently led the team that represented the Latino Leadership Alliance of Bucks County, Inc. (LLABC) in its merger with and into The Philadelphia Prevention Partnership (PPP).

The LLABC was formed as a Pennsylvania 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation with the name “Bucks County Latino Scholarship Fund, Inc.” and provides information, education, training, career counseling, family services and advocacy to the Latino community in Bucks County at its Bristol, PA facility.

The PPP was also formed as a Pennsylvania 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. The PPP is a coalition of community partnerships sharing the common goal of preventing substance abuse and violence throughout the City of Philadelphia. The PPP builds relationships between and among individuals, families, agencies, organizations and ethnicities by providing training and information.

Following the receipt of a no-objection letter from the Charitable Trusts and Organizations Section of the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office, the LLABC was merged with and into the PPP.

As a result of the merger, the PPP will continue to coordinate and provide services, activities and programs for the Latino community in Bucks County as previously provided by the LLABC at the now combined agency’s facility in Bristol.

Sandra received assistance on nonprofit issues from Richard S. Caputo and Jacqueline Motyl, and on real estate matters from Nissan Shah and Jennifer M. Vinciguerra, a paralegal with the firm.
