Fox Rothschild Volunteers Help Restore Local Watershed in Chester County

Attorneys and staff from the Chester County office of Fox Rothschild LLP recently volunteered with the Green Valleys Association (GVA) to help restore a local watershed.

Stephanie Nolan Deviney, Carolyn Esch, Alison Heistand, Ashley Lerch, Beth Throne, and Randy Schauer spent Saturday, April 2, raking, weeding and performing general maintenance to the children’s gardens and flower beds at Welkinweir Estate, a 197-acre estate that serves as GVA’s headquarters.

GVA is dedicated to protecting, maintaining and restoring the Northern Chester County watershed systems through advocacy and education. GVA uses Welkinweir Estate to educate schools, organizations and other groups on the importance of preserving wildlife, water and land.

Fox Rothschild’s office in Exton, PA has been the cornerstone of the firm’s “green” initiative. The office has achieved Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) in both the Commercial Interiors (CI) and Core and Shell (CS) categories.
