August 8, 2011 – Press Releases

Fox Rothschild LLP is pleased to announce that Michael Rinehart has joined the firm as its Chief Technology Officer.

“Our technology infrastructure is critical to the delivery of excellent client service. Michael has more than two decades of technology experience and leadership that will enable him to oversee and drive this essential part of our law firm” said Mark L. Silow, firmwide managing partner at Fox Rothschild.

Rinehart was most recently Vice President, Corporate Information Services at VWR International, a multibillion-dollar worldwide distributor of equipment and supplies to health care and life science firms with operations in North America, Europe and Asia. In that role, he led the Corporate IS team for the company, handling strategy and planning, communications, quality assurance, vendor management and enterprise architecture, and he supported all Corporate functions including human resources, legal, regulatory and finance.

“We have had great success with senior-level administrators joining us from outside the legal industry and believe Michael’s corporate background will be an asset in moving our technology to the next level. We are pleased to welcome him to our senior management team,” Silow said.

Rinehart, who had been with VWR since 2002, served in numerous other roles at the company during his tenure, including interim chief information officer, senior director program management office and director of global e-commerce and application development. He also formerly served as director of account management and project delivery at The Sycamore Group and in various engineering roles at both Coastal Oil Corporation and Foster Wheeler USA Corporation.

A resident of Radnor, Rinehart earned his B.S. in mechanical engineering from Drexel University.
