Fox Rothschild’s Payne Elected Treasurer of Gay and Lesbian Neighborhood Development Association

Matthew S. Payne, a litigator with the Pittsburgh office of Fox Rothschild LLP, has been elected treasurer of the Gay and Lesbian Neighborhood Development Association (GLENDA) ( ). Founded in 1993, GLENDA is a charitable organization that joins with civic, church, fraternal, and school groups to provide volunteer support for projects that improve Western Pennsylvania, and thereby fosters appreciation and understanding of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered persons and communities.

In his litigation practice, Payne has helped clients solve problems involving misappropriation of trade secrets, bankruptcy, breach of restrictive covenants and noncompetition agreements, executions, collections, and franchise disputes. He received his law degree in 2006, cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh. He obtained his bachelor of arts in 1997 from the University of Virginia.
