Fox Welcomes Seasoned Real Estate Attorney David Giles to Philadelphia Office

Fox Rothschild LLP is pleased to announce that David M. Giles has joined the firm in the Philadelphia office as a partner in the Real Estate Department.

“We are excited to welcome David to the firm,” said Michael G. Menkowitz, Fox’s Philadelphia office managing partner. “His extensive experience in real estate litigation and loan workouts will be an asset to clients throughout the region.”

Giles has more than 30 years of experience in business and real estate law, real estate litigation, loan workouts, loan documentation, landlord/tenant law and other real estate-related matters.

He also has a depth of experience in receiverships, rent attachments, cash management and cash collateral agreements, forbearance agreements, deed in lieu of foreclosure agreements, and other matters relating to the enforcement of mortgagee's rights. In addition, he has represented lenders in real estate workouts and complex loan transactions as well as in bankruptcy litigation and lender liability suits. He has also represented landlords in landlord and tenant workouts and landlord and tenant litigation.

Giles received his J.D. from Howard University School of Law and his B.A. from the State University of New York, Brockport.

Prior to joining Fox, Giles was chair of the real estate group at Spector, Gadon & Rosen, P.C.
