November 14, 2016 – Press Releases

Fox Rothschild LLP is pleased to announce that partner Judy McIntire Springer has received the 2016 Pro Bono Publico Award from Pennsylvania's First Judicial District for her work with the Court of Common Pleas - Trial Division - Dependency.

The prestigious award honors lawyers and law firms, government attorney offices, corporate law departments and other institutions in the legal profession that have enhanced the human dignity of others by improving or delivering volunteer legal services to our nation's poor and disadvantaged.

Springer was lauded for her volunteer work with the Support Center for Child Advocates, which provides legal assistance and social service advocacy for abused and neglected children in Philadelphia County. A longtime volunteer with the organization, Springer donates upwards of 60 hours per year to children in need of an advocate.  Since 2011, she has worked tirelessly for one family with seven children, who all have separate cases and needs, to ensure that each child is receiving the best legal representation possible.

A partner in the firm’s Philadelphia office, Springer focuses her practice on family law and domestic relations, including adoptions, annulments, prenuptial agreements, sophisticated and complex divorce and support cases, contentious custody litigation and relocation. She also works on matters involving the protection of grandparents’ rights, including custody issues with grandchildren, complex Protection from Abuse cases, international custody issues and child abduction cases.
