Glenn J. Greenfader of Fox Rothschild LLP Named Managing Partner of New York OfficeApril 2, 2009
Fox Rothschild has announced that Glenn J. Greenfader has been named managing partner of the firm’s New York office.
“Yann Geron has done an excellent job as office managing partner and the firm is grateful to him for his leadership these past four years,” said Mark L. Silow, Administrative Partner. “We are looking forward to Glenn’s assumption of the role in New York. He has had experience founding and growing a firm and we are looking for him to continue to seek out opportunities for expansion going forward. We are confident that Glenn, as Yann has before him, will serve the firm and its clients well. ”
Greenfader has been practicing law for more than 20 years, concentrating in estate and tax planning, estate administration, business succession planning and inter-vivos gifting. His clients include individuals, business owners, and members of the entertainment industry. Greenfader was a founder and partner of Young Moriwaki & Greenfader LLP before its merger with Fox Rothschild in 2007.
Greenfader takes the reigns from Yann Geron, who steps down to concentrate on his growing bankruptcy practice. Geron has over 17 years serving as a bankruptcy attorney and later as a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustee in the Southern District of New York in 1992. He has served as trustee in Manhattan for thousands of bankruptcy cases, some with asset values of as much as several million dollars. In this capacity, Geron has also handled and supervised countless litigation matters in the bankruptcy district and state courts, from standard recovery actions to complex fraud. Geron has also served as a court-approved Assignee for the Benefit of Creditors in a complex corporate shut-down and liquidation. He is also actively involved in the firm’s developing pro bono practice in New York.
As part of his new role, Greenfader will help to integrate the office’s practice with the firm’s newest office in Stamford, Connecticut.
“Connecticut is a thriving business area, despite the current economic downturn,” said Greenfader. “I’m looking forward to working with the partners in our Stamford office, including Joe Pastore and Eric Osterberg, to provide our clients in both offices with the high-quality customer service Fox Rothschild is known for.”
