Grand Jury Sheds New Light on PSU Officials’ Interactions

In the Freeh report, former general counsel Cynthia Baldwin is made to look like the scapegoat in the newest grand jury presentment. Baldwin is singled out repeatedly for apparent missteps in the investigation of a possible cover-up.

The report goes on for several pages explaining how former Penn State president, Graham Spanier, directed the former state Supreme Court justice’s actions, and informed Baldwin twice who she would represent and how she would represent them.

Baldwin is represented by Fox Rothschild attorney Charles DeMonaco.

“Cynthia Baldwin does not intend to publicly address facts and legal issues properly before the court,” said DeMonaco.
