Heather R. Boshak Elected Vice President of New Jersey Women Lawyers Association

Heather R. Boshak, a partner with Fox Rothschild LLP, has been elected vice president of the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association. Boshak has served on the NJWLA Board of Directors previously, most recently in 2008-2009, as chief financial officer.

Boshak focuses her practice on employment litigation, representing employers throughout the United States in federal and state courts and in various administrative tribunals. Her broad litigation experience includes the representation of employers in cases alleging sexual harassment, race, national origin, gender, disability and age discrimination, breach of contract, violations of public policy and tort claims. Boshak also handles traditional labor matters including labor arbitrations and NLRB proceedings. In addition, she regularly provides counseling to employers on compliance with various state and federal employment laws and regulations.

Formed in 1981, the NJWLA (www.njwla.org ) is an independent association of New Jersey women lawyers. Its mission is to retain women in the legal profession through education and activism; and to promote its members to the highest levels of law firm, government, academic, community and corporate positions. NJWLA promotes a variety of professional activities, mentoring, educational programs and networking functions.
