James Singer was quoted in the Pittsburgh Business Times article, “Insights” Full text can be found in the November 14, 2014, issue, but a synopsis is below.
When asked what risks are association with protected intellectual property, Singer explained that, “data exfiltration is a buzzword that many corporate and law firm IT departments are using these days. Bring your own device arrangements, laptops and tablets, web access portals and other tools that help employees work more effectively can also create risks. They all provide openings via which data can exit and organizations physical walls.”
