Fox Rothschild LLP is pleased to announce that Brian M. Rothery has joined the firm’s New York office as a partner in the Intellectual Property Department.

Singer, chair of Fox’s Intellectual Property Department. “Brian deepens our bench strength and expands our patent practice with his vast experience in patent portfolio development, counseling and litigation in several critical technical fields, including medical devices, nutritional supplements, consumer products and energy.”
Rothery provides strategic representation to both plaintiffs and defendants in patent issues involving such diverse technologies as medical devices, dietary supplements, automotive components, consumer products, sports equipment, instruments, manufacturing equipment, electromechanical devices, semiconductors, robotic devices, bicycles, vending machines, window coverings and product packaging.

In addition to his trial practice, Rothery also provides comprehensive counseling on intellectual property matters, advising clients on the development and management of international and domestic IP portfolios for patents, trademarks and trade secrets to help maximize the protection on the client’s research and development activities, commercial products and marketing strategies.
Rothery serves as co-chair of the New York Intellectual Property Law Association, Patent Law and Practice Committee.
Rothery received his J.D. from the Pace University School of Law and his B.S. from the State University of New York.
Prior to joining Fox, Rothery was a partner at Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP.
