J. Benjamin Nevius Elected Director of Berks County Bar Association

Fox Rothschild LLP is pleased to announce that J. Benjamin Nevius, a partner in the firm’s Chester County office and a resident of Berks County, was named director of the Berks County Bar Association for a three-year term beginning in 2017.

A longtime member of the Bar Association, Nevius also serves as co-chair of its technology committee, and as a member of the civil rules committee and the young lawyers division. In his new role, he will work to promote professional excellence, encourage collegiality and exercise advocacy on the association’s behalf.

Nevius is an experienced civil litigator and business counselor with significant first-chair experience representing and advising individuals, families, physicians, lenders, public institutions and businesses - from family-run operations to multinational corporations. He has prosecuted and defended hundreds of commercial disputes involving, among other things, breach of contract, business torts, shareholder rights, unfair trade practice and consumer protection claims, intellectual property, antitrust, real estate and eminent domain, insurance, discrimination, wage payment, construction (project management and defects), trade secrets and restrictive covenants.

Nevius received his J.D. from Villanova University School of Law in 2004 and his B.A. from Elizabethtown College in 2001.
