Jacob Perskie Appointed to ACLU-New Jersey Board of Trustees

March 20, 2017 – Press Releases

Fox Rothschild LLP is pleased to announce that Jacob S. Perskie has been appointed to the American Civil Liberties Union of New Jersey (ACLU-NJ) board of trustees.

The ACLU-NJ affiliate collaborates with the national organization to defend the civil liberties of Garden State residents and others. As a member of the board of trustees, Perskie will work to set policy, raise funds, and provide legal and fiduciary oversight.

A commercial litigation partner in the firm’s Atlantic City office, Perskie represents clients across a broad array of industries, including gaming, technology, health care, construction, action sports, and real estate development. He has hands-on experience in state and federal courts at both the trial and appellate levels.

This is not Perskie’s first foray into public service. He serves on the board of directors of the Boys and Girls Club of Atlantic City and is an emerging figure within Atlantic County politics, where his family has a deep history of public service spanning three generations.

Perskie received his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law, magna cum laude, and his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania. He clerked at the Supreme Court of New Jersey before joining the firm in 2008.
