Jeffrey S. Kravitz Appointed Office Managing Partner for Fox Rothschild’s Los Angeles OfficeJune 3, 2008
Fox Rothschild LLP has announced that Jeffrey S. Kravitz has been named Office Managing Partner of the firm’s Los Angeles, California, office.
“Jeff has valuable leadership experience that will help put our Los Angeles office on the map,” said Mark L. Silow, Fox Rothschild’s administrative partner and chief operating officer. “Under Jeff’s leadership, we look forward to continuing the tremendous growth our Los Angeles office has seen recently, and to building the strength of our intellectual property practice on the West Coast.”
Kravitz focuses his practice on intellectual property and entertainment matters. His practice includes business and intellectual property litigation for copyrights, trademarks, unfair compensation, media, libel, and trade secret law. Kravitz has served as an expert witness on cases in Ohio and California.
Prior to joining Fox in February, Kravitz was a partner in the intellectual property and entertainment practices at Silver & Freedman and at Lord Bissell & Brook LLP, where he was managing partner from 1999-2002, in Los Angeles.
Active in the legal community, Kravitz is a member of the Los Angeles Copyright & Trademark Society, the British American Business Council, the National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel, and the American Bar Association Sub-Committee on Communications Law. In the past, Kravitz has served as director for the Westwood Homeowners Association, and was on the board of directors for The Westside Congregation (Kehillat Ma’arav).
Kravitz was recently named a Top 10 Entertainment IP Lawyer by the Los Angeles & San Francisco Daily Journal, and he has been selected consistently as a Southern California Intellectual Property “Super Lawyer” since 2003. Kravitz received his J.D. from Loyola Law School, and his B.A., cum laude, from the University of California at Los Angeles.
