John Grossman of Fox Rothschild Named President of Board of Greater Atlantic City Charities

John L. Grossman, a partner in the Atlantic City, NJ, office of Fox Rothschild LLP, has been appointed President of the Board of Greater Atlantic City Charities, Inc.

Greater Atlantic City Charities, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that operates The First Tee of Greater Atlantic City, which introduces hundreds of children, ages 7-17, from all different socio-economic backgrounds to the game of golf each year. The mission of The First Tee of Greater Atlantic City is not only to share and teach the benefits of the game of golf and its inherent positive values but to nurture and enrich today's youth in a way that will better enable them to become productive and contributing members of tomorrow's society.

In his legal practice at Fox Rothschild, Grossman represents title insurance underwriters, real estate investors and area business entities in commercial litigation matters, including one reported decision imposing shareholder liability for post-incorporation debt; before administrative agencies; and in transactional and related commercial matters, including acquisitions, development, financing, leasing and sales.

Grossman is actively involved in a number of community activities in southern New Jersey. He is on the Board of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Atlantic & Cape May Counties and the Linwood Capital Campaign Committee for Shore Memorial Hospital. He is a former member of the Advisory Board of Boardwalk Bank and the Rotary Club of Somers Point, NJ. He also serves as general counsel to the Cape May County Chamber of Commerce.

Grossman received his J.D. in 1981 from Villanova University School of Law and his B.A. from Tufts University in 1976.
