Judge Says Strip Mall Owner Fails To Show Release of PCE by Dry Cleaners Is ‘Imminent and Substantial Endangerment’

Hinerman was featured in the Pennsylvania Journal of Environmental Litigation article, "Judge Says Strip Mall Owner Fails To Show Release of PCE by Dry Cleaners Is ‘Imminent and Substantial Endangerment.’" Full text can be found in the March 30, 2014, issue, but a synopsis is noted below.

A judge in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania held that the owner of a retail strip mall failed to show it can prove that the release of PCE into the soil by a dry cleaning business was sufficient for imminent and substantial endangerment to the environment or human health.

Philip L. Hinerman is serving as counsel for the dry cleaners in the case.
