John J. Haggerty was quoted in The Evening Sun article “Judge Tosses Claims Against Egg Farm.” While the full text can be found in the January 14, 2014, issue of The Evening Sun, a synopsis is noted below.

A judge ruled a lawsuit filed against a Huntington Township egg-laying operation is legally insufficient, but left open the possibility for the farm’s neighbor to re-file a more detailed claim.

The neighbors of the farm claim its owners have recklessly handled and stored waste products.

Contrary to the plaintiffs’ claims, defense attorney John Haggerty said his clients run a state-of-the-art facility.

“You could eat off the floor of this operation,” Haggerty said. “It’s clean, well-run and well-managed.”
