Julia Swain Discusses Current Family Issues as Guest Speaker on CNN-WFMZ-TV

April 23, 2015 – Press Releases

Julia Swain, a partner in the Family Law Practice of Fox Rothschild LLP, discussed high-tech custody disputes on the Philadelphia CNN-News affiliate WFMZ-TV program "High Tech: Raising the Kids With Today's Thorny Custody Issues” in March, presented by The American Law Journal.

The show, a weekly talk-feature program hosted by former New Jersey prosecutor and trial attorney Christopher Naughton, addressed current issues divorced parents face that may not have existed in previous generations, including passports and plane travel for children, corporal punishment, introducing a parent’s boyfriend/girlfriend for the first time and technology/media discipline.

Gina Passarella, senior staff writer for The Legal Intelligencer, moderated the program and interviewed Swain during the opening report.

Swain litigates family law cases in the five-county Philadelphia area, including appellate courts. She also negotiates settlements and prenuptial agreements. A frequent author, she has been published by The Philadelphia Bar Reporter, The Legal Intelligencer, The Pennsylvania Family Lawyer and the Matrimonial Strategist.
