Kenneth A. Rosenberg and Lauren J. Talan, attorneys in the Roseland office of Fox Rothschild LLP, recently assumed leadership positions in the Essex County Bar Association, the largest county bar in New Jersey.

Rosenberg, a partner in the firm, was installed as Treasurer of the Association. Talan, an associate, was the recipient of the Association’s Young Lawyers Section (YLS) Award and was installed as a YLS trustee.

Rosenberg is a member of Fox Rothschild’s Labor & Employment Department. He represents employers in various labor relations matters, including contract negotiations, interest and grievance arbitrations, disciplinary matters, unionization campaigns, unit clarification issues and unfair/improper practice proceedings. Rosenberg also counsels employers in connection with the myriad of federal and state employment laws that govern the workplace and provides creative, practical, cost-effective advice and solutions to employment issues.

He regularly appears before the National Labor Relations Board, the New Jersey Public Employment Relations Commission and the New York Public Employment Relations Board.

Rosenberg is a past recipient of the Essex County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section Achievement Award as well as New Jersey Law Journal's "40 Under 40" award. He earned his J.D. from Albany School of Law and his B.S. from State University of New York at Albany.

Talan focuses her practice on commercial litigation and securities litigation.

She served as a law clerk to The Honorable Barbara Zucker-Zarrett, Superior Court of New Jersey, and she earned her J.D. Rutgers University School of Law and her B.A. from Siena College.
