Kevin P. Dermody Appointed to Philadelphia Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division Executive Committee

Fox Rothschild LLP congratulates Kevin P. Dermody on his appointment to the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division Executive Committee. He will serve a three-year term, beginning January 1, 2018.

The Young Lawyers Division (YLD) is comprised of attorneys under the age of 37 or in practice less than three years. The YLD executive committee manages and directs more than 2,900 members and oversees 20 committees in the areas of public service, law-related education and service to the legal community.

In his new role, Dermody will focus on increasing the participation of members and growing membership by engaging with various community organizations to create new opportunities.

Already active in the community, Dermody lends his time to the Wills for Heroes Foundation, which provides free estate planning documents to military veterans and first responders. He is also a Big Brother in the Beyond School Walls Program through Big Brothers Big Sisters Southeastern Pennsylvania.

Dermody earned his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and his B.A., summa cum laude, from the University of Scranton. He remains active in a number of his alumni societies.
