Kevin Scott of Fox Rothschild Presents on Public Finance Aspects of Stimulus Bill

Kevin B. Scott, chair of the Public Finance Group at Fox Rothschild LLP, recently presented on “Public Finance Aspects of the Stimulus Bill” at the quarterly meeting of the Tax-Exempt Finance Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association Business Law Section. The meeting was held Sept. 23 in the Philadelphia office of Fox Rothschild.

Scott and David Unkovic, who serve as co-chairs of the Committee, presented on the proposed changes to the municipal disclosure rules and provided an overview of the Build America Bonds.

Scott maintains a general corporate practice at Fox Rothschild. He provides general representation to closely held businesses and nonprofit organizations and also handles municipal finance and mergers and acquisitions. He represents underwriters and other participants in tax-exempt financing, with an emphasis on health care and higher-education revenue bond financings. He has significant experience assisting nonprofit organizations in all phases of their operations, including corporate compliance, charitable giving and finance.

Scott is a member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers and the National Association of College and University Attorneys and has served as president of the Pennsylvania Association of Bond Lawyers.
