In an age where data breaches and their ramifications are a growing problem for organizations, one law firm is using technology to help guide clients through the issues.

Fox Rothschild has developed Data Breach 411, an iPhone app designed to help companies navigate through the varying state rules and regulations regarding breaches.

“Data breaches can severely impact a company's reputation and have debilitating consequences to businesses big and small,” said Scott L. Vernick, a noted privacy attorney and Fox partner, who spearheaded the development of the app.

“Our app is a ‘one-stop shop’ for in-house counsel and privacy officers to instantly access the relevant state-specific details on what they need to do, who they need to notify, when and how,” Vernick added.

The app is available for free in the iTunes Store. To download it, click here.
