Gary M. Dunkel was featured in the South Florida Business Journal article “Lawsuit Alleges Banker Used Client’s Data to Steal Customers.” While the full text can be found in the June 17, 2013 issue of the South Florida Business Journal, a synopsis is noted below.

A security company filed a lawsuit against a bank claiming that a banker used the company’s confidential information to help a rival company gain customers. The complaint does not specify what information was taken or how it was used.

Dunkel, who represents the bank in the lawsuit, said that he has repeatedly asked the plaintiff for evidence that its business was damaged but it’s failed to produce any such evidence.

“She had a right to access the files,” said Dunkel. “She didn’t do anything improper with their records.”
