Many people are taking advantage of auditing programs with various colleges and universities throughout the nation. Auditing a class entails taking the course without receiving college credit or even a grade.

Stanley Cohen discusses his decision to audit classes at the University of Pennsylvania in a recent article with The Jewish Exponent.

“This was something I knew I wanted to do,” Cohen said. “I knew law, but I wanted more in the way of general, liberal education.” Cohen often attends classes with his wife. The couple traveled to Berlin after studying World War II.

“Education is part of my routine and I hope it always will be. You have to work it into your life and make it part of your life,” Cohen said.
