Fox Rothschild LLP is pleased to announce that Lindette C. Hassan has been selected to serve as chair of the Young Lawyers Section of the Montgomery Bar Association (MBA).
The Young Lawyers Section is comprised of attorneys under the age of 35 or attorneys who have been practicing law for five years or less.
Active in the MBA for years, Hassan previously served as secretary of the Young Lawyers Section, vice chair of the Young Lawyers Section, vice chair of the Diversity Committee and co-chair of the Intellectual Property and Communications Law Committee.
In addition to her work with the MBA, Hassan is also involved with the Pennsylvania Bar Association, where she serves on the Minority Bar Committee, the Women in the Profession Committee member and as co-chair of Zone 9 of the Young Lawyers Division.
Hassan, an associate with the firm, focuses her practice on intellectual property. In particular, she has significant experience in matters, including domestic and foreign patent prosecution involving biological, chemical, and pharmaceutical inventions, analyzing the intellectual property risks associated with various business models, trademark availability opinions, preparation and prosecution of trademark application preparation, trademark protection, and trademark licensing, copyright application, copyright protection, copyright licensing, and copyright enforcement, patent licensing, development and coordination of international trademark protection and analyzing the intellectual property aspects of potential acquisitions.
Hassan earned her J.D. from Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law in 2006 and her B.S. in biochemistry from University of Delaware in 2001.
