Lori Landew Named to Variety’s New York Women’s Impact Report

Hot on the heels of being recognized in Variety’s Dealmakers Impact Report, Lori Landew, partner with Fox Rothschild LLP, has been named to the magazine’s esteemed New York Women’s Impact Report.

The renowned report highlights female industry innovators who have made an impact on their profession and had a ground-breaking year. The feature spotlights New York’s top producers, agents, managers, film and TV executives, film/TV/stage actors, writers, directors and attorneys, among others.

Landew has more than 25 years of experience providing legal and consulting services to clients in the media and entertainment industries, primarily in the areas of music, television, film, fashion, publishing and sports. Having previously served as a top executive for successful global entertainment companies, Landew uses her knowledge and experience to provide advice and counsel to major and independent music, film and television production companies, including Sony Music, Warner Bros. Records, 11-7 Recording Corp., BMG Rights Management, QVC and Stage 3 Productions, to name a few.

She also represents top executives personally in their dealings with major studios and productions companies, including Comcast/NBCUniversal, and has negotiated talent and production agreements with top networks such as A&E, AMC, Discovery, Disney, Oxygen, Scripps, The Travel Channel and the Food Network.

On the talent side, Landew represents many high-profile individuals, including top fashion model Ashley Graham, and also focuses on representing youth entertainers across all media platforms.

Landew is also quickly becoming a go-to resource in the emerging world of drone law. She recently presented at the prestigious 2nd Annual New York City Drone Film Festival on “Integrating Drones Into a Production Workflow,” educating producers on how to assess whether drones are a viable option in a project as a practical tool in terms of budget, permits, timeline, staffing and creative outlook.

Landew’s experience has also led to her representation of several top universities with respect to their media interests, including Drexel University, the University of Pennsylvania and Temple University, as well as many top restaurants and hospitality groups across the country.
