M. Joel Bolstein Reappointed to Serve on NACEPTJune 18, 2007
WARRINGTON, PA – Fox Rothschild LLP attorney M. Joel Bolstein, Esq. has been reappointed to serve on the National Advisory Council for Environmental Policy and Technology, or NACEPT. Bolstein, a partner in the firm’s Warrington office, will join 11 returning and 13 newly-appointed members on the council as he begins his third 2-year term. NACEPT was formed in 1998 to provide independent advice to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on a broad range of environmental policy, technology and management issues. The council is comprised of experts and leaders throughout the academic, business, legal, and governmental sectors.
Bolstein, whose practice focuses on environmental, real estate, and zoning law, returns to NACEPT to continue the dedicated service he has long given to the protection of the environment. He is a former member of the Standing Committee on Environmental Law of the American Bar Association (ABA), and has been an officer in the ABA’s Section on Natural Resources, Energy, and Environmental Law (now SEER). As Deputy Secretary for Special Projects at the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, Bolstein was involved in permit and enforcement decisions, as well as the development of policies and regulatory initiatives.
