Gary M. Dunkel was featured in The Stuart News article “Schools Planning to Settle Lawsuits.” While the full text can be found in the June 2, 2010 issue of The Stuart News, a synopsis is noted below.
An air conditioning company filed two lawsuits against the Martin County School District claiming that they were owed compensation for work the company completed plus interest and that the school district was not complying with public records laws.
Dunkel, who represented the air conditioning company, said that he couldn’t comment on the possible settlement. He did say that his client wanted to be paid for the work they completed.
“There’s no basis not to pay us,” said Dunkel. “We did what we were asked to do, and we haven’t been paid.”
