Fox partner Ian D. Meklinsky was recently quoted in a variety of newspapers and on television in connection with the Paid Family Leave legislation pending in the New Jersey Legislature. He appeared in the following newspapers: The Courier Post (11/29 & 12/1); The Express Times (11/29) and the Asbury Park Press (12/1). Meklinsky was also quoted on NJN TV Network on 11/28 and 11/30.

In the Asbury Park Press article, “Corzine gets cold shoulder on family leave” by Eileen Stilwell, Meklinsky said, “New Jersey has nothing to gain by being in the forefront of this, and asked Corzine to wait until federal legislation is passed.”

Meklinsky also “questioned the math for funding the bill” saying that “[i]f one-third of the work force take 10 weeks paid leave, it would not take long to bankrupt the fund and to demonstrate a need to raise the tax.”
