Fox Rothschild LLP is pleased to announce that for the second consecutive year, Melissa J. Lyon was included among a list of Top Women in Energy by the Denver Business Journal.

The annual award recognizes 40 women who are considered key influencers in Denver’s energy sector.

Lyon represents clients in a broad range of energy and natural resources matters, including litigation and transaction matters related to complex industry issues. Active in the energy/natural resources community, Lyon is a member of the Energy and Natural Resources Section of the Wyoming State Bar. Early in her career, she served as the president-elect of the Sweetwater County Bar Association in Wyoming and later as the vice president of the Albany County, also in Wyoming. In Denver, she created an alumni association for University of Wyoming College of Law alumni to network.

Lyon is also devoted to charitable endeavors, including co-hosting a virtual food drive through the Wyoming Food Bank of the Rockies to benefit communities affected by the downturn in the coal industry. She also is a member of the Advisory Board for the University of Wyoming Art Museum.
