New Jersey State Bar Association Casino Law Section Names Harry S. Jackson, III and Christian J. Fisher to Leadership Positions on BoardMay 27, 2015 – Press Releases
Fox Rothschild is pleased to announce that the Casino Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA) recently named two Fox attorneys to leadership positions on its board of directors.
Harry S. Jackson, III was appointed chairman of the Section, while Christian J. Fisher was named the treasurer. Jackson is the fourth member of Fox’s Gaming Practice group to serve as chairman of the NJSBA’s Casino Law Section.
Fox is home to one of the largest gaming law practices in the United States. In addition, the firm’s gaming group was ranked by 2015 Chambers Global as among the top gaming practices worldwide. The firm continues to build its gaming practice, most recently with the additions of attorneys in its new Chicago office.
Jackson focuses his practice on gaming law matters. He was named “Dealmaker of the Year” in 2014 by Finance Monthly for his involvement in the transaction of Amaya’s Acquisition of Rational Group. He is also an active tribal member of the Nanticoke Lenni-Lenape Indians of New Jersey and was elected to the tribe’s nine-member Tribal Council.
Fisher, who represents clients in an array of corporate and gaming law matters, is a member of the International Association of Gaming Advisors and was also named a “Dealmaker of the Year” in 2014 by Finance Monthly for his work on the Amaya transaction. He has represented casino licensees before various domestic gaming regulatory agencies, including the New Jersey Casino Control Commission, the Massachusetts Gaming Commission and the New York State Gaming Facility Location Board. His recent work includes the representation of Empire Resorts, Inc. in connection with the licensing and development of a casino resort in Sullivan County, New York.
