Patrick Madamba, Gaming Attorney, Joins Fox Rothschild’s Atlantic City Office

Atlantic City, NJ – Fox Rothschild LLP has announced that Patrick Madamba has joined the firm’s Corporate Gaming Practice Group as special counsel, resident in the Atlantic City, New Jersey office.

“Patrick is an excellent addition to the Gaming Practice,” said Nicholas Casiello, Jr., a partner and chair of the firm’s Gaming Practice Group. “His experience in multiple jurisdictions in both gaming and IP matters are a perfect match for us. We’re pleased he’s chosen to join Fox.”

Madamba, who joins Fox from an intellectual property litigation boutique, has practiced in various areas of gaming law for more than a decade. He has handled casino regulatory matters in numerous jurisdictions, including New Jersey, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Missouri, Nevada, and Macau SAR, China.

In addition to his gaming experience, Madamba’s practice includes IP litigation and IP licensing matters. He has a number of reported federal court decisions. Madamba’s experience also includes the corporate arena, where he served as Vice President, General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer, and Secretary for a publicly traded gaming company with multistate operations, and as the Regulatory Affairs Manager for the Claridge Casino Hotel in Atlantic City.

Madamba received his J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law in 1988, and a B.A. from Richard Stockton College of New Jersey in 1985. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey, and before several federal and district courts.
